POW ~ 100″ Last Month!
What a great January at Schweitzer Mountain Resort! Around 100″ of snow fell last month putting Schweitzer at 265″ of snow fall for the season. With all this new snow, Schweitzer Mountain Ski Patrol has been hard at work making it safe to ski and ride. On January 25th the ski patrol set off a massive avalanche in the North Bowl that ran all the way down to Colburn Lake taking out trees and anything else in its way. It’s been a eventful month up here on the mountain, you never know what to expect, and that’s why we love it!
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the winter has to offer!
The photo on the left was shot in The Spires this past week. It was too good to go anywhere so you might as well forget about the car and just ski!
